The British Medical Journal and the Guardian UK recently published a story of a UK Paediatrician who was jailed because of a fatal error she made that caused the death of a patient.

She was still convicted, stripped of her license, and found guilty of gross negligence manslaughter, even with an ‘impeccable’ record before the incident.

But the fact that it was later revealed she worked on a chronically understaffed unit is an enormous red flag.
